What is achondroplasia?
Achondroplasia is a lack of growth in your dog's leg cartilage which results in dwarfism. Some dogs, such as Basset Hounds and Dachshunds, are bred to have achondroplasia. In other dogs, however, achondroplasia can be an "unintentional" condition. What will achondroplasia look like in my dog?
