Yorkshire Terrier

Yorkshire Terriers, or Yorkies, were developed in Yorkshire, England where they were used to hunt rats. Yorkies, both males and females, should not weigh more than 7 pounds. Their coats, which require a fair amount of attention, come in blue and in tan. Yorkies are spirited, curious, and intelligent dogs. They can be territorial, vocal, and sometimes aggressive with other dogs and small animals.
