Welsh Springer Spaniels are an ancient hunting breed hailing from Northern Europe. Males should stand 18 to 19 inches at the shoulder, and females should stand 17 to 18 inches at the shoulder. Their coats are red and white. Welsh Springer Spaniels are hardy and active dogs. They are generally good with people of all ages, although some Welsh Springer Spaniels can be reserved or even timid around strangers.
