Sussex Spaniel

As their name suggests, Sussex Spaniels were developed in Sussex, England where they were used for hunting small game. Sussex Spaniels stand 13 to 15 inches at the shoulder, and they weigh 35 to 45 pounds. Their profuse coats are golden liver-colored. Sussex Spaniels are somewhat mellow, but they generally enjoy a good game of fetch or a dip in the water. These dogs can be excessive barkers or bayers.
