Irish Setter

Irish Setters were developed, as their name suggests, in Ireland, to assist hunters. Male Irish Setters stand around 27 inches at the shoulder, and females stand approximately 25 inches at the shoulder. Their wavy coats are red-colored. Irish Setters are generally spirited, loving and obedient companions who get along well with both people and other animals. They are playful and have a lot of energy, so a fair deal of exercise daily is required.
