French Bulldog

It is thought that French Bulldogs descended from toy varieties of the English Bulldog who were quite popular in the 19th century. Males and females should not weigh more than 28 pounds. Their coats may come in all colors except solid black, black and tan, black and white, liver, mouse, and white with black. Frenchies are clowning, merry dogs with big personalities. Many Frenchies are also good watchdogs and somewhat protective of their territory. Because of their flat-noses, Frenchies are noisy breathers and they snore.
