Brittany

Brittanies were developed in the French region of Brittany to assist in hunting birds. Both males and females should stand 17.5 to 20.5 inches at the shoulder. Their coats come in orange and white, liver and white, or liver and white with orange markings in specifically defined places on the body. Brittanies are athletic and enthusiastic dogs. They need ample time and space to romp, run, and play. They are also quite sensitive and sometimes easily distracted.
