Bouvier des Flandres

Bouvier des Flandres originated in Southwest Flanders and Northern France where they were used to assist farmers in various work including herding cattle. Males stand 24.5 to 27.5 inches at the shoulder, and females stand 23.5 to 26.5 inches at the shoulder. Their coats range from fawn to black. Bouvier’s personalities make them great family pets as well as fearless guard dogs. They are loyal and sweet, yet very protective of their families. They are also highly intelligent.
