American Water Spaniel

It is thought that American Water Spaniels were developed in Wisconsin’s Fox River and Wolf River valleys. Both males and females stand between 15 to 18 inches high at the shoulder. Males should weigh 30 to 45 pounds, and females should weigh 25 to 40 pounds. Their curly or wavy coats are brown, dark chocolate, or liver-colored. Some dogs have small white markings on their chests or toes. These dogs are full of energy, and they need a large amount of exercise daily.
