Elizabeth Ross, CEO
Prior to co-founding DoggedHealth, Elizabeth spent several years
working in marketing and development for various media companies
including Burson-Marsteller, a public relations and communications
firm, and RGE Monitor, an online macroeconomic information services
firm. Elizabeth is a lawyer by training, and she is actively involved
in dog-related charities and activities within her community. Elizabeth
is owned by a quirky Golden Retriever named Diego.
Dr. Daniel Lauridia, DVM, Chief Veterinarian
Dr. Dan runs a veterinary
practice in New York City. Dr. Dan’s unique insights into veterinary
medicine spring from a deep love of dogs and years serving dogs'
healthcare needs. Dr. Lauridia holds memberships in the
American Veterinary Medical Association, New York State Veterinary
Medical Society, Veterinary Medical Association of New York City, and
New York City Veterinary Emergency Response Team. He is also a member
of the Veterinary Information Network (VIN), and he is a veterinary correspondent
for Fox 5 News New York. Dan lends his support to several animal welfare organizations including The Mayor's Alliance for New York City Animals and City Critters. Dr. Dan is owned by a sweet and stunning pitbull mix named Hayley.
Jolanta Benal, CPDT, Chief Trainer
Jolanta is a Certified Pet Dog Trainer who sees private clients for both manners lessons and behavioral difficulties, often working closely with a board-certified veterinary behaviorist. She has studied with Pat Miller and regularly attends seminars on the science of training and canine behavior. In addition to her work with DoggedHealth, she is The Dog Trainer on the website Quick & Dirty Tips where you can subscribe to weekly podcasts. Jolanta also volunteers for Safety Net, a program of New York City Animal Care and Control that helps adopters keep their animals at home and avoid relinquishment. Jolanta is owned by Isabella, a Basic Yellow Dog found on the street 11 years ago, and Juniper, a Pit Bull mix whose pregnant mother was rescued in the Bronx. She also shares her home with assorted cats who crack the whip over all of them.
Gregg Oehler, Executive Director
Gregg Oehler specializes in publishing, advertising, and business consulting for traditional and online media companies with particular expertise in the dog industry.
Previously, Gregg was the publisher of New York Dog and Hollywood Dog. Gregg has also served as the executive director of Petstyle.com, an online lifestyle network for pet lovers, where he was responsible for marketing and sales strategy. In addition to his work at DoggedHealth, Gregg also was hired as publisher of the The Metropolitan Dog Club’s Blue Book, a publication for dog enthusiasts, and lends his expertise to various other dog-related companies and charities. Gregg is owned by an adorable and loving 18lb. Boston Terrier named Gracie and her sister Digger.
